the awakening human
an excerpt
Below is the transcript of the first episode of my audio course, Awakening the Multidimensional Self.
It came through after meditation, dictated into my phone in a kind of trance state. It’s formatted as a spoken piece — and a little like a Kiss.
Imagine with me for a moment.
Imagine that you are the awakening human.
It’s not a stretch. In fact, it is the truth.
You are a human walking through the world.
As you walk through the world, you see the blossoming of life happening all around you.
You see other people.
You see the dramas and the stories of the world around you.
You see and read about the perspectives of other people - how they see the world, their opinions, their narratives.
From their opinions and their narratives,
you develop your own opinions and narratives.
You are in the dimension of the physical world.
You feel the ground under your feet and the sky above your head.
You feel your skin.
You know your bones are there because they are holding you up.
Your perspective is physical - fully immersed in the story of your life, where you are the protagonist.
You believe you are your body.
You believe you are your thoughts.
You believe you are your emotions.
Your existence begins and ends with the body.
Until something shifts.
Life feels difficult.
You notice you are in pain.
You make the same choices again and again that lead to the same problems again and again.
You feel nervous. Upset. Restless.
Immersed in the daily chaos of your life, unable to see a way out.
And so you seek help.
You begin to change your lifestyle.
You move your body.
You meditate.
You begin to regulate your nervous system.
Over time, your perspective changes.
The physical world is still there - but now another layer becomes visible.
You notice your thoughts.
You notice your beliefs.
You notice waves of emotional energy moving through the body.
You notice the sensation of breathing.
You notice the sensation of being here.
The more present you are with your body and mind,
the more space you begin to notice between thoughts.
And the more you rest in that space,
the more your perception begins to widen.
You begin to understand that your inner world affects your outer world - and your outer world shapes your inner world.
A system of inputs and outputs.
A living exchange.
You become the observer of your experience.
You follow your thoughts back to their origin -
to something you were taught,
to something you lived through,
to something you absorbed.
You begin to see the body and mind as intelligent systems.
Not as enemies.
Not as flaws.
But as organic technology designed to interact with life.
You begin to question your programming.
Are these thoughts true?
You become aware of emotion as energy.
You notice that when emotion moves, there is relief.
When it does not move, it becomes tension. Restlessness. Constriction.
You begin to understand that regulation is not suppression.
It is flow.
And as emotional energy moves cleanly through the body,
the mind becomes more spacious.
More steady.
More capable of gratitude.
Gratitude not as forced positivity,
but as baseline coherence.
From this steadiness,
something deeper begins to awaken.
You are no longer only the character in the story.
You are the one perceiving the story.
And that shift changes everything.
This is the opening arc of where we begin to explore what becomes possible when the nervous system is regulated enough to hold expanded perception.
Regulation is not the end goal. It’s fundamental. It’s physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.
If you’d like to explore this work, you can find the full audio course, Awakening the Multidimensional Self, below. This is the foundation of live nervous system immersion starting in May. More on that next week.
