I am excited to share a rebirth with you. Sacred Kisses is now Sacred Life.
There are still so many Kisses yet unshared and many that could use repeating. Like the one today - which I sent exactly one year ago as the very first post. Today, I offer it again with an accompanying spoken word meditation.
I am in a bit of a creative rebirth myself. I have been called to take all that I have written and create spoken word meditations and meditation films. I’ve already begun sharing these with you.
To be able to receive by listening feels nourishing to me. A healing salve for this wounded world.
Throughout the rest of June and July I will be sharing these audio meditations for free. Beginning August 10th, I will be introducing a $6 paid tier where the audio and visual pieces will live.
I will also be introducing a Sacred Patron tier for those who wish to gather live. Beginning in September, I will host a monthly live gathering for gentle intuitive movement, meditation and reflection. The intention: to honor our sacred life by listening more deeply to ourselves.
You now have the option to pledge your support. I invite you to do that if you feel called. You can also hang back and decide later. You can also always receive the written words for free.
Whatever feels good. Do that.
Always.
Everything in this dimension of existence unfurls, unravels, and blossoms in its own time.
All life is co-creating together.
The blossoming of experience happens for many - not just for one.
You may have a vision of a certain experience you'd like to have.
But doesn’t that experience also involve others?
Divine timing is the moment when blossoming occurs
at the right time
for all involved.
Let go of your own timing.
Let go of the desire to control
when and how the experience unfolds.
You may have noticed:
trying to control the timing of experiences
often brings rich spiritual lessons
in the form of suffering.
You can circumvent this suffering
by surrendering your will
to the wisdom of Divine Will.
Notice when your internal dialogue
is clinging to dissatisfaction with what is.
Notice when your mind tells you another experience would be better - and urges you to take action to force it into being.
Be aware of this tendency.
It is the energy of resistance and control - the opposite of patience.
Let go of the steering wheel of your life.Simply release the grip.
Trust that you will not veer off course.
Trust you will be led
to roads beyond your wildest dreams.
Remember:
you are nature.
And nature does not control - it participates.
Surrendering is not doing nothing. It is not passive.
The practice of surrender
takes courage and consistency.
“Doing something” is conditioned and automatic.
We’ve been taught to make our own lives happen.
To work hard.
To chase our dreams.
But here is a truth:
seeking to control the circumstances of your lifecan disrupt the blossoming
of the best possible outcome
for everyone involved.
So breathe in…and let it all go
on your exhale.
